Spring has come to Copenhagen

This is basically just a post for showing my friend Mike the whole process from shooting a video to embedding the code on the blog. Spring has come to Copenhagen and even though the wind is a bit chilly, this is definitely an improvement over a mere weeks ago.

Sounds like Mike is from England!

“warm in some parts cold in others…” I know what he means, it just sounds really funny!

    :)

good way to teach. just do it in front of them.

  3. David Howell says:

Yep. Shoot, edit (maybe) and post. It must be nice to be able to teach people like that :)

  4. raymond says:

@Susan: Yup, he is a Brit, lived in Denmark for over 20 years tho.

@Jay / David: Well, it was an informal part, showing by doing. Showing the process.

I am the Mike referred to by Raymond. I am gobsmacked by the learning I am having with R. Learning here = technical: how to blog etc, but more importantly about how the world is opening up with the use of new media, about how I can change and make a different sort of contact with the world (big word) and other people. In the past I would have read articles about this, but thanks to R’s patience in teaching me some of the technology I am (always becoming) a part of it.
We are actually working well synergetically, since part of my background is in communication and we spark each other off. Wow.

Yeah, just a couple more comments. Learning by doing is great approach and for me it takes some time to grasp it so the small theoretical background r gives is helpful for me to put it into context.
The doing it in front of me, in the cafe scene above absolutely left me speechless - suddenly our thing there and then was out to whoever saw it!!
