Public Service Videoblogging

PSV the video coming soon!
We know of public service announcements and public broadcasting channels like the British BBC, American PBS, Danish DR, or German ZDF.
But: What about Public Service Vlogs? Would it make sense to say that some videobloggers are mostly interested in doing “public service vlogging”, while others are interested in more commercial initiatives?
Is Alive in Baghdad a PSV? Surely! What about Ryan Is Hungry? Yup.
What else?
What videoblogs would you term a public service vlog?
So, I am on a quest to find as many PSVs out there as possible.
Where is the videoblogger who uploads video from a refugee camp in Darfur or Gaza, showing the world what life is like there and taking questions from comments on the site?
Where is the educational videoblog that guides you through the jungle of NGOs out there that deal with development aid in countries such as Nepal or Uganda?
Where is the videoblog that is your window to the world of a bunch of youngsters in Queens, NY, giving you the opportunity to interact with them and support them in their fight for more areas to safely hang out?
Where are the videoblogs consistently giving updates from New Orleans as it is today?
Do you know of any good PSVs? Please let me know!

Good luck on your quest, very interesting topic!
Didn’t try but I bet you could find a bunch of independent videos about each topic on YouTube. If there are humans in pain or trouble, there’ll be a video and view rates will go up. Add a few drops of blood or even a dead body and your views will go over 100K.
Having a regular, civilized (not blood thirsty) vlog, with video and an article, would indeed be very nice, so I wish you discover those and share the URLs with us!
Thanks.
PS
A bit off-topic, but here’s the one I enjoy regularly:

Sometimes I think I dont look hard enough for public service vlogs.. cause thats what Im most interested in and yet on my subs list I have so few. Theres a general lack.. people for some reason havent awoken to this idea. Whats up with Alive in Baghdad anyway.. better check if the feed isnt messed up.. I havent seen anything for months.
Hi,
I read your comments on the videoblogging group. I’ve been doing a “public service vlog” for the past 3 years - since 2004, showing the reality of the reservation life. I am a native american producer, and I’ve been working in Indian Country for the past 30 years. Check it out, and I hope you enjoy the shows.
