Sometimes I need to make videos just to experiment with something.

The red thread in this one was lost somewhere.

Music by Röyksopp, in case you didn’t recognize it.

    Compare with original sound:

Just to compare with other version. How does music affect the video?

This is a good illustration of how music sets the mood .. how would the mood change with different music?

what camera do you use, R? i am buying a new one. thinking of a digital camera that does videos…

Raymond, I already told you I loved this video.

And since you won’t answer Trine, I will. Trine, Raymond use an older Canon Ixus camera - the current equivalent would be Ixus 800 or Ixus 850. I’m a Panasonic man, myself. :o)

oh sue me! yeah, trine, i use a digital ixus 750 - they are called something else in the U.S. etc. Here is one review of it.

    I like this camera a lot :)
Beth: Yeah, I’d like to play more with sound. It makes, obviously, a huge difference, but how? And how much?

thank andreas - if you had comments on your blog I’d leave one now and again heh.

i ended up ordering a xacti c6 in the end, which is very exciting. arrives tuesday.

Where’d you order your c6? I have been looking for one (and buy depending on the price), but I haven’t been able to find it anywhere! I’ve only been able to find the xacti HD camera and that is way too expensive for me.

A buddy of mine has a xacti c6 and I’ve played with it on a couple of occasions. I think it’s ‘okay’ for photos and ‘really hot’ for video (I’m a photogeek and I like lots of buttons on a camera for still images). I wish I had one!

I really like the music with the video. Even without it, the video rocks, but with it, it just has real zip to it.

andreas (sorry for highjacking your blog raymond!) - i actually bought it on amazon.co.uk.

it’s quite expensive, but I did some work last month and figured I was sick of taking video on my cell phone, which is crap really. also i don’t take lots and lots of *good* photography, so after looking at digital cameras for ages and realising it was just never what i wanted, I though heck, why not treat myself :) so i did :)
    it’ll be here this afternoon!!!

Yeah, it’s a little out of my spending budget. I hope the postman gets there on time!
